The JKUSA AWARDS is an annual event that seeks to recognize exemplary students in various fields, such as entrepreneurship, education, leadership, talent and arts so as to promote such endeavors amongst the students. During the event, the JKUAT community will get to nominate, vote for and celebrate exceptional achievers for their remarkable contributions in various disciplines
Various sponsorship and endorsement deals may result directly from recognition in these awards
"Individuals who have been exceptional in various categories shall be recognised.
The main event is certainly expected to be fun-filled with local and guest artist performances.
The names submitted by the students will be carried forward and a select team of nonpartisan individuals each uniquely handpicked by the students’ governing body will vet these nominated parties and come up with a final shortlist of not more than 5 parties per category.
The students will once more be wholl y involved in the democratic process of voting for their preferred parties from the final shortlist. It is the parties that will emerge with the highest number of votes from this phase that will be honored at the grand ceremony.
